Look, I don't know this store so I can't speak to what their involvement is. But I'm willing to bet it's more than you're giving them credit for. And even if they don't lift a finger, their rent, the wages they pay, their taxes and your sales tax *do* support the community. When you spend $ online, that money is sucked right out of the local economy and is *poof* gone.
That aside, you asked if I'd still do business with them-- I give everyone at least three chances. If the customer service is ... er ... lousy all three times, then no, I'm not going to give them my loyalty and $. But by trying a few times, I feel like I've given them a good chance. And if they blow it, I've at least done my part.
