Question Mouse vs. Tablet

Hi!

I am a newbie using Ktita 3.1.4 with a Wacom Intuos Pro S v. 6.3.23-1 tablet both running under Windows 7 Pro (64bit).

To practice, I started Krita, created a new file, selected a free hand brush, and changed the color a couple of times.

First, I doodled with the mouse. Then. I doodled with the tablet's pen. The problem is that the lines don't look the same. The pen's lines are thinner and lighter than the mouse's lines.

What am I doing wrong?

Thank you!

Re: Mouse vs. Tablet

You're not doing anything wrong. A pen is pressure sensitive, a mouse is not, and they will work a little differently.

Dear Michelle,

Thank you for your reply.

Right on! Elsewhere I found out that by changing the Tip Feel in the Wacom Tablet Properties, I can mimic the mouse and do other things as well.
