It may be old news to some, but I was happy to find that Alain Picard has a youtube channel with videos on a variety of Pastel painting subjects. I became familiar with his work as a portrait painter a few years ago. His youtube channel covers a wider breadth, including landscape painting.
Thank you John for sharing this information. It was very useful to me :)) Love his work and its great that I can see his YouTube videos now. Will definitely go through all of them.
I have been watching Alain Picard for awhile, and he is just SO good at explaining things for a newbie like myself. His recent video on “Painterly Edges” where he paints the apple was a “light bulb moment” for me!! I would LOVE to attend one of his workshops!
