Indigo Bunting

Hi all! I mostly paint birds that Iíve photographed locally, and I couldnít wait to paint this indigo bunting after finally getting a good shot of one this spring. This is my first time uploading here, so hopefully it works.

Beautiful work! I grew up in Ontario and never saw this bird although I was a very interested birder. That was fifty years ago though. I still miss the birds from that portion on Canada. I see their range doesn't make it to the west coast north however. We have a limited range of waterfowl here compared to southern Ontario.
