My favs the first version of your studies by the way you painted the sky and your final version. Very delicate and pretty!

I love the way the city is in the background and faintly visible. I think that's just exactly as it should be. The tree is the focal point but if the city were more distinct, it would lessen the importance of the tree. The bird nest is sort of precariously perched up in the tree, though, and might be too "added" looking rather than natural like it belongs there.

Thank you for your appreciation, Kareen. It is very difficult to make the decision. But I do really enjoy the study process.

Yes, Grizabella, I have the nest is a bit "additional" after I finished the painting. It was wonderful in my dream before I did it. Maybe its size or just doesn't match the atmosphere.
