Hi Everyone!:wave:

New member here Ive been painting for a little more than a year, mostly with soft pastels, but have ventured into oil (water soluble) a few months back.

I am self-taught and am always looking up to artists and trying to learn.

Here are a few of my last painting for your critique. I mostly paint alla prima as I am quite impatient and I love a more impressionist look. Thank you for having me

I love pastel, but they are harder in terms of sales / framing / size. I find that oils are easier as one can do larger canvases and not worry about framing

Possibly, but they are also considerably faster than Oil- the two for me are interesting to work back and forth-

“a little more than a year”??? This? Amazing. I wish I will be there in a couple of years, after giving up gardening. (I also started with WMO a year ago.)

The first one I find the best.
