Taking the lazy option this week. The berry pickers featured here a while back. This version is a biro sketch on paper. The tower is visible in the ref photo of West Tanfield. It was sketched by me on the spot just last year as we took a break driving down through Wensleydale from Scotland. Partner Alison is sketching in the foreground. It is a digital charcoal on what was then my bran new iPad Pro.
Both have been recoloured from the originals. The berry pickers just by selecting a tint option in the photo edit. The tower by adding layers in Procreate. The Berry Pickers

Instagram harry.hamillJanuary 15, 2020 at 5:47 pm #932359Dearly wish that I could learn these digital programs, but I seem to have a block when trying to read instructions. You, Harry seem to have a great penchant for picking them up easily – I love this depiction of Time, using 3 refs to make possible a powerful painting of this subject!
Thanks for looking, Kate
