Very nice! Beautiful bold colors!

The only thing that I notice a little bit, is there is a rather hard blue line along the leaf on the far left side. I would just blend that line into the background. Otherwise you have some very nice edge variety!

This looks beautiful Angie. If you take care of that edge Don mentioned, I think you've got a winner here. Great job!

Thank you both for your comment! I will try to rework it so that darker line is gone. I honestly did not notice it before, but it'd definitly bothering me now.

good for you in making nupastels accomplish all of this. They were my first pastel set and they did me well till I got frustrated with the limited values.

May you get some more darker pastels and sing along more in this medium if you choose! Good work! Barb

Very well done Angie only yesterday i noticed golden acrylic ground and I was going to ask in talk if anyone had any experience with it. Does it take many layers.

Hi David, I did many thinned down layers (mixed with water). The reasoning, I had tried without the thin layers and I got markings where there was uneven application, and so the thin layers, it gives time to even out, and fill in the uneven bits - now you could probably avoid it with a roller. But the product does recommend creating a mix, with 40% water. Other people would probably have more experience with it since I'm pretty new to the "pastel-scene" hehe.
