Re: P&I Forum Challenge - September 2019

This is my neighbor's wellhouse. Done with a dip pen onsite, 5x5 inches.

For next month, since I tend to ignore them ~ skies.

My lawn shed, dip pen with a touch of watercolor. (and yes my shed is purplish blue with a red door. ). It's a weird angle where the yard slopes in two directions.

For next month.. a medieval beast (dragon, sea serpent, unicorn etc)

Re: P&I Forum Challenge - September 2019

And lastly some animals..

A fish inspired by one on an old map. I made a big blob on the "F" then tried to hide it, that's what that thick swoop is.

Dip pen, 5x5.

Because of that blobby "F" for next month ~ Something with text

And my dog laying down. He's not fat but he is sausage shaped, hence the nickname.
Dip pen, a touch of light blue conté pencil (which the camera didn't pick up well) 5x5.

For next month ~ an endangered animal.

Potters, great crab hut. So glad you got it done before it started to rain.
Virginia, wow you've been busy. Love the squash with all it's tendrils.
Well done on both buildings and the landscape around them.
The fish with text is really interesting and looks like it was fun to do.
Sammy Sausage looks very content, was he in the sunshine?

Thank you! He was in the sunshine. He's looking very raggedy right now. we were out in the woods and he managed to get himself into a bunch of burrs and had a impromptu haircut on the tailgate of our truck. Not elegant but effective!

Re: P&I Forum Challenge - September 2019

Thanks for your comments they're much appreciated. I've been admiring the clever line shading of this months drawings, it's something I need to look at to help me improve my own as well as being a good way to spend a rainy evening.😊

Wow Virginia, what a splendid Collection!
That squash is superb (now x-post to Florals!!!) .... love the sheds too with all the foliage making the settings so good .... Fish is a lovely design, elegant!
Your little dog, tuckered out .... glad he's well again ... and somewhere I still have sketches of mine, looking just like yours!

Plenty of suggestions for next month and they can also be used for Inktober, two for one!
