Gerard richter exhibition visit

Went to a Gerhard Richter exhibition recently. His work really resonated with me, I didn't expect it to. I have been looking at this acrylic on paper for a couple of months. Added some oil pastel last night. Still WIP

Re: Gerard richter exhibition

With GR I think its the scale and detail texture that engages the viewer.

Your work does resonate, I can see that, but its different. There is complexity and a love of the mark making of the media used - which is wonderful.
As long as there is light, I will paint it.
