Thanks for watching. I've to confess this is my very first attempt with color pastel. This one is (not seems) very detailled and complicated, the point is the "time". I'm devoted to give as much time as necessary to reach the goal, it's worth it I think (you all won't regret). For "kyoto_bayashi" it was my first attempt with grey scale pastels (based on number of views, I guess the goal has been hit and thanks to all of you again!!). I can tell I can see the whole result coming through it already, it pushes me ahead .
More to come...

Oh by the way, C&C welcome. This is my first attempt with color dry pastel pencils and I'm always ready to get tips or corrections which would be good to apply. I'm still seeking time to get on...

I love the softness of this Eric. It is simply exquisite and I am so glad I came across it. Looking forward to the progression.

Cheers, Dianna

hello
yes , linear compared to your earlier thread
( which i see has been brought up to today )
ArtbyPeggy has a thread using pastel pencil
rather then coloured pencils .
> control of detail looks to be common between you .
>> perhaps you can pm with her about the pencils ...

look forward to see how you bring in colour to this piece .

Wow! The buildings are coming out so gorgeous. Beautiful slow delicate painting, Eric. I think this is going to be spectacular when it's done.

Thanks a lot David . I just need tiiiiime !!!! I've got the motivation, patience, but time... I'm upon the definition of the car on foreground, still struggling with proportion.
I'm grateful to all of you with coments, it helps me to carry on...
