I'm working mostly from imagination. Therefore colors, animals, dreams, angels... and their symbolic meaning and virtues inspire me. The symmetrical beauty of a mandala, archetypal symbol of wholeness, seems to be a good way to connect the intangible inner world with the concrete outer world. I choose colors and subject according to topics which strike a chord in me. What I hope is that my mandalas have a soothing effect. Colors have healing powers and so has the imagination, that's my experience at least. Does this answer your questions?

Re: Squirrel Mandala

This is so cool! I love the design and the colors. I especially think it's neat how there are 3 squirrels & 1 rabbit & also how some of the flowers are overlapping the blue ring.
