Beach rocks

I've been having a bit of a struggle with being productive lately, so I decided to do something different. My usual work has straight lines, perspective, and depth, so I decided to take a vacation from all those things, lol. This painting has no straight lines, no use of perspective and little depth, but it was fun. It was nice to put aside worries about deadlines, etc, and do something kinda silly. 16 x 20 acrylic on canvas.

Looks good. It is nice to let yourself relax with a painting sometimes.

Re: Beach rocks

I like this a lot. Perhaps you should consider putting worries aside more often 😉

Re: Beach rocks

Nice! I like the shapes, and the way you've composed the piece. Harmony of colors.

Re: Beach rocks

Your choice of colour and style creates an effective graphic effect. I like it. Rock on!

Re: Beach rocks

Thanks, everyone, for the replies and the kind words.
dave woody...."kinda silly" was a poor choice on my part. "Carefree" would be a better choice, something with no deadline or other pressure, just enjoyable.
