WIP: Prisoner of Childhood (Tower of Sadness)

Ceramic, still wet, about 14 inches tall. It's five-sided, in the shape of a pentagram. This will have antique doll parts and other items epoxied into it after it's fired. The "roof" (lid) has skylights and holes in the floor to let the light go down into the structure. Lots of peep holes as well which will have faces looking out. Will post a pic when this is done, might be a few months as I take large batches of ceramics to be fired in one session.

This will be really cool when finished. Love the allegorical concept. High school memories (nightmares?) would make a good one too.

Thanks, Doug

Thank you David. A lot of things could work probably, but the freaky doll parts were sitting around haunting me (staring at me!), so I finally figured out some way to use them.

Ya, dolls can be creepy. I can't wait to see this when you finish. You are a man of many talents.
