Circle, String & Splatter

Another abstract, dimensions of 60cm x 40 cm, on hardboard. Background of buff titanium. The lines were created by dragging wet string through cobalt blue and winsor violet and then pressing on to the board; circles were created using the inner tube of a toilet roll, again in cobalt blue and winsor violet and then the painting was splattered with phthalo green. I don't quite know what happened to the photo as it looks like there are undulations in the surface when there aren't - I'm sure this is my fault!!

This works. Instantly I knew it was art. The only thing are the circles seem so close together in the middle. I wish you could drop the bottom right one more towards the bottom. It would spread the painting out. I love the green spatter and the lines.

mm.. yeah I agree about it being a bit heavy in the middle.. but it's to much to be minimalistic and doesn't seem to be enough to be done...

Thanks for the comments Brian and Sean. Now I have a chance to look at it again, I agree that I need to drop the bottom circle lower down. I'll do that and see how it goes! Thanks again.
