Re: Dressing in Style.

I can't critique this because it is a cartoon pony like MLP and I'm not familiar with the skill you are working with except computer skills. Perhaps it would be better in the digital forum? It is cute, thats really all I can say. =)) Cheers. Debs

Re: Dressing in Style.

Sorry but I still consider this weird. Giving her boobs and a school girl outfit and your watermark goes to your mlp porn so I can't see this as anything other then sexualizing a child's toy. Also mlp is under copyright still. They have tried to remove the stuff like this in other place so I don't see why you can't invent your own character?

I am not saying there is anything wrong with your art skills digitally but I personally find using something marketed to 5 year old girls this way disturbing. I have no issue with a well done figure study and have done my share of expieramenting with subject matter but mlp crosses a line I can't.

Re: Dressing in Style.

This is a tamer version of what he has on deviant art and his tumblr account. The adresses are on the top left of the img. It's part of the bronies I think it's called? Some seem to enjoy making my little pony go from a child toy into an adult situation. I personally didn't know much about it until this artist came here and I looked at their other art in other places.

I don't mean to pick on him I just don't understand what the reasoning he is taking pictures created months ago and posted on tmblr wi more graphic images and asking us to critique it. This is a much different kind of art site then the darker sides of the interweb and I have been a long time viewer only recent account holder and never seen such a crossover. Plus hasbro has made a stink at removing some things they don't approve of in some places.

I didn't understand if it's about our view or if he thought no one would realize it. Is it about building additional traffic on his site? I don't understand the attraction.

I appologies as I know this is not the place for debate or conversation but these cartoon images aren't very critiquable either.

When I post images here I am looking for help and opinions. How does one critique these? I think the artist has talent and it's a shame he doesn't grow into his own creations as it might be amazing to creat something from scratch not based on a trademarked character.

That's the last I will say on this sorry everyone.
