Abstract #9

This pianting has an odd shape... 2 x 8". It can be viewed to good effect as a horizontal piece as well.

Re: Abstract #9

Indeed, it is an unusual size.
I'm glad that you mentioned that it was fine to view it from a different angle as I rather like the lengthwise view with the darker colors on the left.
Does it have gloss medium coverage or is it the flash that makes the sheen?

I can see a boat on the water with trees in the background.

Re: Abstract #9

Is it 2 feet by 8 inches or 2 inches by 8 inches?

Re: Abstract #9

Nice. Congratulations on trying a non-standard size. I like the vertical format on this one. I often have abstract trees as subjects in my own paintngs and often with red trunks, so the red verticals in your work strike a certain resonance for me.
I checked out your photobucket site. There is a lot of nice work there. I recommend that others unfamiliar with your work check it out.

Re: Abstract #9

Nascent, all the colours are mixes with either gloss high viscosity gel or with glossy self-levelling polymer. I too prefer it as a horizontal.
Valchina612, I see them, I see them. (cool)
Grob, I wish.... Its only 2x8 inches.
objectivist artist, do you mean on the bottom, or at the top??
rtt, thank you for the kind words about my website.
