Formulas for egg tempera medium

I have been reading up on egg tempera and was looking for formulas to make the egg medium myself. Is there a tried and true formula that has a good shelf life?

The main composition of the yolk egg tempera: 1 part yolk, 2 parts dry white wine. Wine can be replaced with light beer, but the emulsion will be more voluminous.

Further additives:
preservative - 1-2 drops of clove essential oil,
oil - polymerized linseed oil from 1 to 3 drops (depending on the writing technique).

Despite the presence of preservatives, it is better to store the finished emulsion in a cool place.

There are many formulas. If you add linseed oil you are no longer using egg tempera, but egg/oil emulsion. Some add vodka, some add wine, some say half and half water and egg yolk, some say half egg and vinegar. Choose the way that works for you.
