I'm normally quite decisive about composition but I'm having trouble deciding on this. I plan to expose the columns slightly more than real-life and I've sketched both angles as well to attain a more human perspective.

The side view more atmospheric to me, but I also find merit in seeing the full scale of the structure from further back. Which perspective to you prefer?

I think there is much more mystery, and mood in the first one. There are more angles, and it is devoid of the flat, uninteresting "lawn" in the front of the structure, that is apparent in the second photo.

My vote is for the first photo.
