        They are oil paint in sollid form with wax and I am guessing they can as they have oil in them ? But just wondered as they were in sollid dry form do they would they have less tendencey to yellow unlike oil paints?

            Hi! :wave:

            Most oil paints contain linseed oil, it’s this that yellows. As linseed is a fully drying oil it’s not used in oil pastels. Hope this helps!

                Ah :wave: ooh thanks so much sarah :) Amazeing art on your website wonderfull :) The oil pastel i since discover they have whats called a non drying oil a downfall in using pastels as they difficult never dry .Also so you could not say then put water based medium over oil obviously …was just curious about different mediums :)
