Hi!
Most oil paints contain linseed oil, it’s this that yellows. As linseed is a fully drying oil it’s not used in oil pastels. Hope this helps!

Amazeing art on your website wonderfull The oil pastel i since discover they have whats called a non drying oil a downfall in using pastels as they difficult never dry .Also so you could not say then put water based medium over oil obviously …was just curious about different mediums Sculpture is what you bump into when you back up to see a painting..Barnett Newman
