Re: I'm a Scaredy Cat! FINISHED

Hey, TC, I noticed in the "candid" shots over on the Show Production thread http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/show...=546557&page=5 a photo of your Scaredy Cat - did you attach a cradle to the back of the Scratchbord? If yes, what method did you use?

There are pics of it in this thread. post #135

I used a Kreg Jig to assemble the Basic frame & then glued the board to the Cradle VERY VERY Carefully with Gorrila Glue.

WARNING use that glue and get 1 drop on your piece and it's ruined so wood glue might be better for more casual users.

Re: I'm a Scaredy Cat! FINISHED

Duh... I guess I shoulda looked back a little deeper on this thread

I used Gorilla glue on the cradles I made last year - you're right about being careful with it - I got one single pencil dot sized drop (luckly on the corner) and it made the ink in that area just peel right off - it was kinda scary/cool how it dissolved the ink...

I'm clueless about woodworking, so I'm gonna have to go off and google "Kreg Jig".

Thanks, TC.

That's exactly what I need then, because right now it takes me at least five times that long to make an imperfect cradle and it drives me crazy!
