Re: Photographs of Summer flowers

macd, your photos are stunning, amazingly clear and beautiful. I could paint from your thread forever. What camera do you use, I'm on the point of buying a new one, your's looks excellent. Love coming here to lift my spirits, especially in the midst of grey wet days, these photos inject shear nectariferous colours into these dull winter days, thank you...Shelley

Re: Photographs of Summer flowers

Hi Shelley Lane,
Thank you for the nice comments, summer here at the moment lots of flowers around.
I'm using a Canon PS5is an 8mp point and shoot, this is now 1.5 years old, there is a new edition the Canon sx10is that is 10mp with a stronger zoom, around Aud $600 to $800. There is a discussion in the photographic equipment forum, started by Tinman who bought one, he might be able to enlightment you more on the xs10is.

A few more.

Keep warm

Re: Photographs of Summer flowers

Hi Srishti,
That one was from a while ago, Photoshop, inverse again and colour saturation. Because there is a dark field it turns out this way.

Re: Photographs of Summer flowers

Hi Srishti,
Sorry made mistake, I just did another one to make sure of how and I'm wrong in my info before.
It's PS adjustments/inverse. Image/ adjustments/ black and white/ tint push to the maximum whatever tone your after.
