Lizelle, Bob, Tammy, Phyllis - greetings and thanks!

Tammy, that apple is very red to me .

Phyllis, got it, thanks - I'll see how it looks when the basket's finished and tone down, tune up whatever's out of whack.

I want to reach my fingers all away around that apple and pick it up! You are getting it on Bob.

(((Robert)))

I think you are a painter. You are sculpting the objects/elements in this painting..with brush and paint. I can see that you are considering value, color, placement...light/dark..surface...texture.

I get a very clear and strong sense that you love what you are doing. It shows up in your work. It shows up in your effort..in your drawings..in your discussions..comments, and thoughts.

Would an artist not be considered an artist..if he/she only painted one painting in a life-time?

Need I say more?

Thumbs up

LOVE the subtle reflected color in the shadow of the apple! Regarding the basket, choose a small section in the light area for maximum detail, add a tad more cool shadow under lid, and suggest the rest! I think the strength of this piece is in the overall monochrome mood plus apple red...

I really like this piece.
Especially how wonderfully you have placed the objects on the table, they really look like the are ON the table, something I struggle with in my own work.
Your's seems so effortless.

I really like this painting. I especially like the colours and the shadows and all the different textures.
