Re: Some oil portraits

Laurel, when I first saw these works, I was completely wowed. "Who is she?" I asked myself. "Is she some young kid fresh out of art school? A Sunday painter who managed to knock it out of the park?"

Well, I looked up your name, and found that Laurel Stern Boeck is a well-known portraitist who has had some very impressive commissions. My apologies for not recognizing your name, as I damned well should have. But I did immediately recognize your great talent.

This forum is a place where utter novices rub shoulders with established pros. You have much to teach people here.
