Gary - Welcome!!! Nice to have another new face. I like your use of the white highlights. It really makes the s&p shakers and the hammer look good. Nice shading on the leaf and that wonderful potato!
Carole - Thank you.
Jo - Great to "see" you while you're traveling!
Paul - Thanks. Nice washy look to the 3 colored peppers!
Nothing new from me today!

Paul and Birkenstock good job.
Jo I think it looks a little like you. Good job. And thanks for the call. Nice taking to you.
Tomorrow at our Art Assoc, I am taking a class on how to use Inktense. I allready use them but this will include using them on silk fabric. I figured it would be interesting.

"J" - Your class sounds like a very enjoyable way to spend time with people who have common interests. Colorado Springs has several art organizations and local artists give classes. Is your Art Association made up of anybody in the local community that wants to join? There's a significant fee for most of the classes I've looked into.
Paul - Looks like a winning pair with a stack of chips! Your peppers are great.
Berkenstock - You already have good drawing skills, but you might want to start the online drawing classes available in the Drawing & Sketching forum. Click The Classroom at the top of the forum to see what's available. Arnoud is a great coach and many experienced Wet Canvas artists also help out.
Here's my #2, my fist.

Re: Scavenger Hunt #280 Aug 17-25
Fourth time to try to post this. My laptop just throws some things away. Or takes me to other places when I hit a key. No certain key either.
The art assoc is for anyone to join and the classes have one price for members and another for non-members. The class I too about using aquabord and this class are $25. This one has a $3 supplies fee. I have seen some of the classes that were more tho. I can't take them if they are much. I am on a fixed income. A lot of the ongoing classes you can take one a one time thing for a smaller fee or pay as you go.

Paul, great and colorful peppers. Thanks. I posted photos on my blog if you have time. Ah, you are a gambler, too. I love playing cards.
Gary, nice work. The colored paper adds a little drama!
Hi, Joan.
Jeanne, nice talking to you, too. Thanks for the Hunt.
Carole, great job on the fist.
EP, I will check the new Hunt. We will be out at a ranch in Montana with limited eMail and no phone for a week. I will check in if I can.
Later, all y'all.

Paul - I love how you weave what you enjoy into your sketches! Nice!! Looks like you won a bit.
Jeanne - Oooh!!! Inktense on silk! That sounds interesting. You'll have to take lots of notes and share. Your classes at the art organization sound really reasonably priced. My two groups don't really do classes but they have demos once in a while, and sketch nights with live models (clothed) that we chip in for. One organization I used to belong to did classes but even as a member they were too expensive. Have fun!
Carole - Nice fist.
18 - hammer - water-soluble pencil
19 - where I keep my keys - inktense pencils and ink
20 - potato - pencil
21 - butter - pencil
22 - matches - pencil
23 - defines comfort - ink

Jeanne - Thanks for the information on fees you pay. It gives me some comparison for what's reasonable.
