the sketch was a rare treat to do, the heatwave and the summer diet 🐁 must have taken their toll. so grateful, much needed exercise.

Both in keeping with my recent posts of older paintings of mine which I a sharing ( just for fun ) and in keping with ths weekends lovelies theme.
An older and very tiny still life of mine, oil on board. As I post this it makes me think that perhaps I could do more, so perhaps an up coming project

Trying acrylics (again) for fun and exercise. 18xx24 cm canvas pad. The pad and the paint and even the brushes are most cheap one can get

ik...acrylics can be a fun medium to switch to sometimes...I did a short series with them a few years ago and just because they weren't oils I felt so much more creative freedom .. (no doubt a personal issue for me)...nice execution of that rose
