Some great drawings in this thread, Ulla

Being a fantasy lover I think my favourite is that ferocious blue dragon a few pages back. I think coloured pencils are a great and clean way to learn about how colours blend, when I first tried using watercolour paints the results were disappointing and I abandoned them. I eventually took up coloured pencils and then when I picked up the paints again a few years later, I was able to use them with much better results (still got a lot to learn though hehe), so as you get better with your coloured pencils, you will probably begin to find it easier to use other mediums as well. The FC Albrecht Durer and Polychromos work so well together, you'll get interesting effects by underpainting with the AD and then going over them with the Polychromos, or even vice versa.
