Gauging from the position of the ump, and the catcher's move, it looks like he's backhanding the glove for a play at the plate. What would help is if you changed the color of either his pads or his glove to create a contrast. Right now i lose the glove in the right leg pad. Also, i see what looks like pads on his arms? Catcher's don't wear arm pads. Just a chest protector and knees/shins. P.S. The most common colors for pads today are black or red. Gloves are typically tan or black or occasionally red. But whatever color you elect, i think the key is distinguishing the glove from the pads. I hope this helps.
