Been playing with still lifes and stuff but always have to go back to my landscapes. This was done in Pastels. The original is 12 x 18 and after finishing I’ve decided to crop it because the bridge is right smack dab in the middle. I’m attaching two possible crops. Thanks for looking.

Wonderful! The glowing foliage is perfect in light and color, and I like the use of shadows here, too. The silhouetted trees add to the drama of the low-angled light, and great job on the reflections, as well.

Wonderful pastel work, that captures the season! I like the square crop for no other reason than that was the one that appealed to me. Both work however.

Like all the colour variations going on in the foliage and natural shaping. Beautiful.
Both crops work for me. However I like the path leading eye over bridge, and the clump of nearer trees which is chopped. The bright yellow of the trees catches the eye just as much as the bridge so is a crop the best solution?

Both are artfully cropped. I think I like the closer crop because the bridge is so nice. Great color and reflections!
