these are outstanding! the weight, the reality, the light in half shadows, the unity, the character of the buildings... a searing sense of time as a foundation, then life, endeavour growing from that. very beautiful!

Really enjoyed looking at your paintings.

I've been exploring Japan this last year thru my imagination because of online interaction with new friends from Japan. Such an interesting place and people.

Hopefully you will inspire more people to take up oil painting there.
