Re: Snow Wolf

Great work, Gary! You've painted the fur most beautifully! The short fur around the top of the head is especially great. Stunning work on the eyes as well!

Re: Snow Wolf

It is such a joy to see your works again Gary. The snow wolf is excellent. I am so impressed by the number of colours that you have used in the fur and it still reads 'white'. I have watched your work with interest over the years and you just get better and better. Masterly work. Love it.

Re: Snow Wolf

Thanks again your comments inspire more, Chammi you and others on WC do inspire more from fellow WC artists and there are many styles of painting everyone can use to create their own. I love furring detailing and have many tweaks over the years to reach this style, here is the under painting.

Painting fun

Re: Snow Wolf

That is interesting to see. I am painting white hair/fur and hadn’t thought of a coloured under-painting.

Re: Snow Wolf

Thanks so much Gary for showing us the underpainting. Perhaps sometime when you have time, you will do a complete WIP for the members of our forum. It would be so inspiring.
