I might have trouble seeing the colors of your walls. I love your space also. How come some of your walls are orange and others arepink?

Thank you for your kind words about my sunny "summer studio" upstate. Now I've moved back downstate for the winter --- not nearly as spacious. Not as many windows. Lighting is also not as good. But when it comes to space, we take what we can get, right? It took me a full week to reorganize, but I am up and running again:

Hi I know a lot about windows. If they are not there, I make holes in the walls and add them. It’s easy!

Re: Show me your Studio or Work Space!

Hello Timoat- regarding the large easel in the stairwell.

Maybe something happened to the artist?

Good for you, and lucky to produce under hard conditions.

Re: Show me your Studio or Work Space!

Timoat, it is a nice easel and fits perfectly within your studio. Is there any way parhaps with help of landlord saying it was on way to garbage and relegated ownership to you.? having the item is 9/10th of the law here in Usa.

SlopBlot, so much fun to see how everyone works and what we to do find our spaces. Grant, your studio is wonderful. Inspiring.

Re: Show me your Studio or Work Space!

Just repainted and reorganized my space. It is a 9X12 converted bedroom. Repainted main walls a neutral grey. Store canvases in small closet behind easel. Other supplies on floor to ceiling wire rack. Got a used stylist/beauticians stand to use as a taboret for brushes and paint.
I paint, draw, jewelry and tinker, so it is a bit multi-functional.

Mach5, looks like you use every inch of creative space. That is inspiring, too. Your studio looks like a fun place to be.

Re: Show me your Studio or Work Space!

Thanks Jo! I do try to maximize what I have, which in itself is fun. My interest can vary with my mood, painting and drawing with various media, jewelry, crafts, and computer and small appliance repair so I like to keep it flexible. I also have enough room for a friend in the studio so we can both work on projects or chat.
