Hi all. This is my first mural, and it's outdoors too! Thanks for all the advice everyone gave, it was most helpful.
The mural itself is on a fence. It's a privacy screen next to their hot tub on the deck.
I forgot to do a total "before" picture. This is after primer, and the base coat layers of paint, and I started a bit on the sky too.
After about 3 hours ...
6 hours ...
The far right side was in the shade, so I tried to get a picture of the lonely mountain hiding in shadow
Detail on the left side
I'm about 6-7 hours in. It's been a bit frustrating because it's been so hot here and the paint is drying in minutes (it's a south facing wall), so I find myself reworking some areas because I haven't been able to mix paint in and get the detail I want before it's dry. But it has been good for me to learn different techniques an ways of doing things.
I will venture over again this week to finish up on the lower half, which will be wildflowers. Any tips, criticisms, feedback, etc. is appreciated.
