Question Maroger Medium

There is a lot of info on Maroger medium in several threads, but I have not been able to find out how this product affects the drying time of oil paint. Does it speed up drying or slow it down?

Definitely speeds it up. It can be touch dry in 24 hours depending on how thickly you paint. Sooner if you paint thinly. I love the stuff. It's expensive and rare compared to other mediums but I won't do without it.

Re: Maroger Medium

Good, I was hoping it would speed up the drying time. I'm more experienced with watercolor and acrylic, so oils have been a new challenge for me. I bought a tube of Old Masters Maroger medium and it really is amazing stuff. This will make paint handling a lot easier. I had been having trouble getting the paint to do what I wanted.
