Re: What are you Working on Today?

Thanks Anthony (glad the girl always lives), and Margaret

Just completed 9x12 watercolor on Canson, another bird in my experimental series. I morphed my sketch into a chickadee

A fallen soldier named Stuart, killed in action somewhere in the Mideast. I paint free for parents portraits of their children killed in the spate of wars since 9-11. I've painted more than 200 of them.

Here is one of them . . .

Lovely works, all.
Budigart, your work is beautiful and your project is brilliant. What a touching way to honour the fallen. That is the most impressing thing of all. What an incredible and compassionate use of your ability.

Re: What are you Working on Today?

Just sketched out a scene for my parents, who just returned from a trip to Italy. They loved Florence, so trying to get some of their favorites from the trip into the scene - wine and the Duomo.

Edit: Sorry for the glare on the right. Painting in front of a window today.

Re: What are you Working on Today?

Something that needs to be finished, as my studio space is way too crowded in preparation for the next exhibition.
"Not yet titled", oil on canvas, 100x140cm.
