Salvage work. - WIP

Hi folks, this is a failed painting that I have been trying to salvage. The first image was shot after I hosed off the original. The remaining are subsequent shots. This is all gouache on 300# paper, size is 8"x10".
I look forward to your C&C.
Regards,
Greg

Gary thanks for following along. This is going slower than I would like but the real world keeps interrupting. Here is day 5 and day 6 and I think it is getting closer to the shredder.

Greg.

Unhappy Re: Salvage work. - WIP

Hi folks, I finally decided that I had overworked this one enough. It bit the dust about 11A.M. this morning.
Onward and upward to the next one.
Regards
Greg.

The hosed off one looks interesting! I believe it is always worth a try - occasionally a disastrous start can result in something exciting.

Re: Salvage work. - WIP

Thank you Sonia. I have destroyed all versions of the rose painting. As a result of your post I have down loaded that version of the painting. I will experiment further with it, should a painting come about I will name it after you.
Regards.
Greg

I liked the first hosed off version too. I think you had some really nice versions in there but it seemed to lose it's way after you added the white to the roses.
