Nasturtiums and Poppies

10x8 acrylics on wrapped canvas of nasturtiums and poppies together on
multicolored varied background. These two types of flowers you don't see painted with each other too often, or I have not anyway. Sides of the canvas are also painted as overlapped designs.
C&C welcome

Eine richtige Farborgie Kay mit der
Kapuzinerkresse bzw. den rosa
Mohnblüten und als Kontrast die
unterschiedlichen Grüns - super!

Re: Nasturtiums and Poppies

Kay as I scrolled I thought how festive, like a floral party! Actually I can't resist saying that at first glance I thought of balloons which always offer that celebration feel and this did too, to me. Wonderful !!

Re: Nasturtiums and Poppies

Elaine said they looked "festive" and I must agree. This looks like it could be a textile print. Excellent design and composition.

Re: Nasturtiums and Poppies

How pretty Kay - my first thoughts were like Elaine's, balloons at a party! Lovely and joyful.

Viv, thanks. I've done another one similar but it is watercolor on Aquabord, so will post it later today.
