Re: No pity series abstract

From a strictly practical observation:

Give each piece a title or number so that when we make a comment we can ID which one we are talking about.

Sizes and medium are also helpful on each piece as it is important to some folks.

From a more personal observation:

Because these were photographed very well, it is easier to appreciate the texture and bright colors.
I prefer the way you manage to create bright vibrant rich colors without making them muddy and dull.
These really appeal to me.
I love bright bold paintings.

These are all very striking and I also love the color mixes.

Re: No pity series abstract

Thank you. I will make an effort to give them titles. They ate all 16 x 20 inches in acrylic. I like the way they are developing. At the end ofthe month i am starting 10 sessions of life drawing the figure. I am exited about how that is going to impact my work. Right now i am working very primary. All mixing happens on the canvas. Thank you so much for your comments birdhs

Just another note:

When you make a thread most folks will only look once. Any images added after the first ones will not be seen by all,
I find it best to make a new thread for each image, that way you get the best chance to be seen.

Good tips so thanks, greggo!

Love your red faced man, too, Shaun. Life drawing will teach you a lot and know you will enjoy and learn.

These are all very nice, loose and uninhibited. Time to look at Chaim Soutine’s trees.
“I am what I am” is what God said to Moses and what Popeye said many years later!
