Hi, I'm Joanne and after reading along for awhile and a student in Johannes classes, I'd like to join up and share in the great information that comes out of these forums. Just learning my way around - or trying that is.
I paint mainly in oils that I love. I have attempted watercolor but before retiring my painting time was limited and I found I always returned to the oils. After joining Jo's classes i am going to give the pan pastels a try. I have always thought pastels would be wonderful but because of the dust, I've stayed away from them for health reasons. This seems to have been solved with the pan pastels so I would like to gain as much info as possible through forums.
I'm the caregiver for my husband who is terminal with cancer and don't have the time I always thought I'd have for art when I retired, but it has been a life-saver for me and really lifts the spirit.
