New Orleans Skinny Building

11x7 watercolor done recently in October, a street scene in New Orleans, on Kilimanjaro 140 lb cold press paper and Daniel Smith paints. There were no figures in the photo so I added a lone guy at the doorway of the skinny building. Ref courtesy Valri/Wet Canvas for recent Weekend Drawing Event in AMAE forum.
C&C welcome

Nice work Kay. The structure of the building is excellent.

Re: New Orleans Skinny Building

You did a good job with combining complex elements like buildings, and making them look easy to paint. I like how the grayish tones create a unified atmosphere amongst the colors. Also I like how you blended various shades of each color together to add variety to the color of the buildings. It helps add texture to the brick surfaces.
