"Down to the river..." fugure study.

One of my few attempts on figurative work. Clearly a study, not a finished painting.
Pastelmat, watercolor underpainting, various pastels. May use it for future work and invest more time into it... I think it may worth it.
C&C are welcome.

Yes! I can easily see this developed more into a finished painting. I really want to see how you handle her hair. The color and lighting are soft, yet dramatic. The only thing that needs addressing is the bottom left corner. Mabe you could lengthen the dress or change the angle a bit. I just think it ends a little too abruptly. Nicely done, Tatiana!

Thank You, ladies!
Karen, I was thinking about painting in full figure (if I even will have time to go for it!), therefore it will be no cropping involved. I more likely will do another study of model's head before I do anything else and will do it bigger a little. It is not the easiest angle for work her face, I still not happy with it... Well, we will see.. maybe face next, maybe full body after that with no cropping.

This is nice, I think if you pushed up the contrast to draw attention to her face it would be a decent painting as it is, can't wait to see where you go from this study,

Nice job on this, the lighting is great. I definitely can see this as a finished painting, it's got all the right elements. A full figure would be beautiful, I hope you get the chance to do it!
