Poppies & Peonies

I bought a 'mystery' box at my local art supply store that ended up being an awesome purchase. It was full of sample sizes of different paints and mediums. One of the items was a crackle paste. I decided to try it out on some small 4"x5" wood panels. Had fun with these and will Probably buy more... great marketing strategy!

Thank you! So fun!

I absolutely would have never tried the crackle paste if it weren't for this, but I can say I would recommend it!

Thanks Christel. The mystery boxes are really fun. I have had good ones and not so Good, but that is the gamble. This one was a winner! The lime green fluid acrylic used for the peony painting was also inside.

Both are so vibrant and fun! Seems like I tried the crackle out years ago.

What a great idea. I've never seen anything like the mystery box over here! Love the poppies in particular
