Study

Graphite study for an oil painting . Drawing like this is hard! I need some fixative and some white chalk. Doing this does really make you understand the picture and the values especially. I am going to do more. Your input very welcome as always.

Good movement with the directional lines of the charcoal. Sky looks dark.

I have thought that Value drawing with a pencil is maybe harder than painting. I this is a good result. I hope that you match this study with the painting here. Gary
