Practice tree #4

Last of my 4 practice tree paintings. 4.5Ēx6Ē
Figured I'd go with a fall one to challenge myself more. Used the following picture as a reference https://www.pexels.com/photo/yellow-leaf-trees-70648/
Hereís what I came up with.

Anything major I still should do before calling it done?
Also as always any criticism, tips, advice or opinions are welcome.

I rarely give advice because I'm no expert, but. . .stronger shadows would enhance the overall picture. Your shadows on the ground look good. Your main tree looks pretty good, but the one on the left is flat, painted in one value. I don't know what style you like but studying and copying Asher Durand's trees helped me a lot. Just keep practicing tree studies, you'll get there soon.

Mr Majestyk has given good advice, but apart from that, you have done very well.
I'm so glad to see more work from you, and I'll be goshdarned if there isn't significant improvement IMHO, great to see
Good work

Thank you.
The original picture has a blurriness to the background. I exaggerated it some trying to keep the focus on the main tree.
Iíve been looking into copying some paintings Iíll see what I can find from Asher Durand.

I understand health issues, have some major ones going too. I hope your health improves. And do check out Asher Durand's trees--they will surely inspire you. Keep painting, some aspects of this painting are excellent. Stay positive, Brah

You are off to a great start. This is nice. There is a wee bit of a blur in the image. Keep going, good job.

A nice light and beckoning image. I agree with the comments on some stronger shadows.
My best to you for improved health.
Keep painting!
