Replacing my Oxycon

I have been making glass beads since 2003 using an Unlimited Oxygen M-10. I think I got it from Mountain Glass. It just quit. Dead. I have no idea what the problem is. I turned it off after my session yesterday and today it gets no juice. the company (unlimitedoxygen.com) no longer has a web site. Looked in the (rather primitive) instructions that came with the Oxycon and there is no word about a fuse. Does anybody know what I can do? So I also went to various sites where I buy glass and tools and nobody seems to sell Oxycons. All I see are medical ones at horrendous prices. Any suggestions?

Re: Replacing my Oxycon

So I just joined here and guess this reply is quite late.

This happened to one of mine. My fix was to take of the top and open the oxycon so I could see a fan. when I started the oxy again I got the fan going by spinning it with my finger. (BE CAREFUL .IT STARTS REALLY FAST AND COULD PROBABLY TAKE YOUR FINGER).

Then I just put the top back on and it has worked for years since.

For a replacement I would just go on ebay of find a used one some other way. try a hospital and ask if they have some they cant use. I got one like that
