February 4, 2008 at 7:27 pm #497696Okay, I’ll get us started. I was cleaning my art area up and ran across some oil pastels that I have neglected for quite a while so I thought I would play with them.
This one is new prismacolor markers I was testing out.
Then just a goofy little doodle,

…………………….[FONT=”Century Gothic]The beat of the drum sounds…………..
Water fills my sky
I swim towards the roof , the membrane
breaking through , I hear a roar
from a bear as liken a mountain
the body vibrate [ the soul soars ] as [ eye ?] wash ashore
the bear transcends , becomes a hill
sings riddles to me
I’m speechless but my mind talks
words are stories , images are art
I brave the bear whom now is stormy cloud
takes me up in arms rings me out
it rains me down , down to earth
the body is water, the eye is light
colors arc , the bower is awash in morning due
I tell the children stories .

All Media Art Events, Artwork From Life, Art JournalsFebruary 26, 2008 at 4:55 pm #497753Okay Bill…………I thought I was the only one who wrote poems/stories for my paintings and such. Of course, yours make sense wheras mine are the stuff of high school. I like this drummer girl!
I just noticed on your profile you meditate. I would love to do that! I have googled many sites, just need time away from the kids…………when I’m not painting……..or cleaning……….or working. And of course that list goes on endlessly!
AnyHooooooo, I really find this enjoyable! Can’t even explain why, it just is.

Well , thanks much Kim ,:)
Yes, Im quite fascinated with her currently [ that s why I started photographing her at different angles and tinkering with lighting effects ] and there are ‘band mates ‘ under construction.
I do wonder where it all comes from ………
Ahh yeah meditating , well its not the — ooommm / sitting cross legged kind — more like just thinking, getting lost in thought/ daydreaming also the dream sleep state . -
