Thanks, Doug. I'm sure you are much more knowledgeable about these travails than I can ever be.

Re: Using The Uploader and Resizing Images

ONCE in a while I can use the mountain icon with Firefox (my preferred route) but I get rejected so often, I have to start Internet Explorer if I want to upload a picture. Betty

Re: Using The Uploader and Resizing Images

No problem, Toshiko, that's what I'm here for. If I can't answer a question, I can usually find someone who can (often it's Doug) .

Glad you were able to upload your pictures.

Betty,
I use Firefox and Safari all the time and have no problem with the Uploader button. I am running a Mac, maybe that's the difference????

Re: Using The Uploader and Resizing Images

If you upload and get an image returned but can't click on it, you can copy the picture url post it in your thread and add [IMG]...[/IMG} tags either side:

e.g [IMG]http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/images/22-Jan-2009/1046-Fallcolours6177.jpg closing bracket)

This puts the picture into your post.

The other alternative is to attach your picture by scrolling down below the reply box and clicking "Manage attachments"..

Re: Using The Uploader and Resizing Images

Uploaded using Firefox with my iMac computer running OSX 10.4.11

Uploaded using Safari on my iMac.

Saturday evening at 8:50 p.m.

Just tried both browsers I use on my computer and had no problem using the Uploader icon for either of them.

Re: Using The Uploader and Resizing Images

Hi Sylvia - my daughter uses Firefox and a PC and has no trouble with the mountain icon - can't figure out why it only works on IE for me. Betty

Re: Using The Uploader and Resizing Images

Hi Betty, assuming you have the same version of Firefox as your daughter the answer must lie elsewhere - your anti-virus, popup killer or browser settings perhaps.
