Lovely seascape Jim. The trawler looks rather insignificant in those big seas and just confirms my view that trawlermen have a tough life! You have painted the lighthouse and rock beautifully - I like the colours and the 'tip' of the rock strata - very well executed.

I love how the texture really comes through in the objects in the distance (such as the cliff and lighthouse).

And that divine sun - WOW.

How many washes did you paint? Curious

I only use one wash, at the start, I start at the top and work to the bottom changing colours as I go, using kitchen roll to take out the clouds.
