Greens and Golds

Painted on Arches with WS, 8 1/2 x 11 1/2. Just a made up scene. Thank you for any comments. When the rest of the world longs for summer, in Arizona I rather have fall.

Re: Greens and Golds

Janet,
Your imagination worked beautifully in this lovely scene with the yellows and oranges and greens and blues.

I think it looks beautiful as it is, but you might consider softening the hard edges of the mountains in the background (as they are on the left behind the tree). That would increase the idea of distance a bit more.

Sylvia

A beautiful, fresh autumn scene!
(We are "fighting" here with spring.)

Thanks everyone for the encouragement. I keep practice, but improvement is very slow.

Beautiful -- your colors are stunning and I like the grasses in the foreground.

Oh I envy people who can make up scenes so well. As you do!

Lovlewy colors, especially the purples and oranges. Well done!

Janet - who wants to reach perfection? Then nobody would strive to improve!

Your colourful autumnal scene is very nice indeed - backdrop of mountains and sky included.
