Picture isn’t as good as possible, it is a bit blurry, it was taken by owner. The wooden frame is attractive, it has metallic green color. :thumbsup:Yes, you are right , I use Cobalt green color, it is my favorite green!

July 1, 2018 at 2:43 pm #650789Alex, I agree with Jess about the glowing colors – they’re just lovely!
I’d love to see a WIP of the stages when you use an acrylic underpainting sometime.

I did light green underpainting with PG50 for bottles, I think that helps to achieve gorgeous blue color with glaze layer.
(I fall in love with Italian Ballet manager, in that day she was exceptionally charming! )To paint cloth, I tried PG50, but also added some amount of PG19 Cobalt green light (a bit more bluish than PG50 Green) and Cobalt green deep to improve tonal variation. It was underpainted with Raw sienna acrylic paint, it was very close in color with Golden ochre. But lights I did directly with PG50.

July 2, 2018 at 5:38 pm #650797Interesting composition Alex. The tables awkward upper edge gives it a slightly uneasy feeling. A bit like Van Gogh or some Degas. Everything tucked into the corner. But it gives it energy. Good job!.
